Description
The Outlast Trials is set during the Cold War era. You play as a human guinea pig recruited against your will by the Murkoff Corporation. Within this facility, you face experiments focused on brainwashing and mind control. You must complete therapy sessions to earn your release back into society. The gameplay requires you to avoid enemies, hide from them, and run away when necessary. You can earn and improve various tools to help you stun or blind enemies, heal yourself, or see through walls.
Your goal is to finish the Trials and MK-Challenges. Trials are story-driven therapies, while MK-Challenges are shorter tasks in modified map sections. You can tackle these objectives alone or in teams of up to 4 players. You can also customize your own trial patient.
