Description

The Sexy Brutale is a masquerade party held within a sprawling casino mansion. You wake up on a room floor wearing a mask marked with a bloody handprint. This item shields you from the evil found throughout the building. At this event, staff members murder the guests repeatedly. The mansion operates on a twelve-hour loop that resets at midnight.

You observe the events, spy on the staff, and uncover the secrets of the guests to prevent their deaths. You navigate ten murder scenarios, including death by spider venom, fire, or spikes. Saving a life provides you with a new ability. The Clockwork Mask lets you control time, the Moth Mask captures quiet whispers, and the Voodoo Mask reveals sights from beyond the grave.

Reviews

“The Sexy Brutale deserves as much attention as any Horizon, Zelda, Nioh or Persona. This game is ****ing brilliant.” 10/10 – Jim Sterling “The game is perfectly presented with outstanding audio and visuals that are able to switch the tone of the story from being joyfully upbeat to a very dark within a matter of moments.” 9/10 – Push Square “I found Boone’s quest so fascinating, the Brutale’s secrets so alluring, and its world so charming that I rewound the clock just to spend a few more days in Lafcadio’s beautiful nightmare.” 82/100 – IGN
