Description
The Shapeshifting Detective is a supernatural murder mystery FMV game. You take on the role of a detective tasked with investigating the death of Dorota Shaw. The primary suspects consist of three tarot readers who possess the ability to predict or commit murder. You explore the town of August while listening to a streaming radio broadcast featuring dark fiction.
You possess the supernatural ability to shapeshift into other characters. This allows you to access private encounters and unlock secret conversations. You use a questioning interface that includes a delete mechanic to interact with suspects. The game contains over 1600 full HD video responses. A murderer is randomly selected at the beginning of each playthrough. You can even assume the identity of the next victim.
