The Stone of Madness — Special

The Stone of Madness is a real-time tactical stealth game situated within an 18th-century Spanish Monastery. Located in the Pyrenees, this Jesuit monastery houses both an inquisitorial prison and a madhouse. You control five prisoners named Agnes, Leonora, Eduardo, Amelia, and Alfredo as they cooperate to uncover mysteries and escape. You alternate control of these characters, using their unique upgradable skills to distract enemies, cast spells, stun evil spirits, assassinate targets, and explore hard-to-reach areas.

Each character has specific phobias and traumas that impact their mental health. If triggered, these traits cause negative effects like bouts of violence, dementia, or paranoia, which change how the character is played. You must also manage time, as actions have consequences. Day is ideal for gathering materials, while evening brings paranormal threats.
