Description
THOTH is a twin-stick shooter featuring handcrafted stages. You navigate through vibrant patterns, shapes, and colors while listening to an electronic soundtrack by Cristian Vogel and SØS Gunver Ryberg. The game is designed to test your puzzle-solving abilities and coordination. You can play through the experience by yourself or join a friend for cooperative play.
As you progress, you must focus on your timing and positioning. You need to dodge incoming enemies while simultaneously avoiding collisions with objects in the environment. The demanding nature of the gameplay and the imposing aesthetics are intended to induce a trance-like state. This game was independently designed by Jeppe Carlsen, who previously served as the lead gameplay designer at Playdead.
