Description
The Class 35 diesel-hydraulic locomotive features a hydraulic transmission. This locomotive was known as Hymeks and served as the most powerful single-engine diesel-hydraulic locomotive during its construction period. Beyer Peacock manufactured 101 units between 1961 and 1964. These engines operated on the Western Region of the British rail network during the 1960s, pulling freight and semi-fast trains. They remained in service until 1975, and four units exist in preservation today.
In Train Simulator: BR Class 35 Loco Add-On, you operate this locomotive in British Railways green livery. The model features updated exterior details. You can utilize the engine in Quick Drive mode on any compatible route. This locomotive represents a former Iron Horse House model updated to current standards.
