Description
The BR Class 59 represents a heavy freight generation of locomotives. Originally ordered by Foster Yeoman in 1985 to replace the Class 56, the design from General Motors Electro-Motive Division features a 3,300 horsepower engine. This locomotive was built to haul heavy loads like coal or stone. The Class 59/2 variant was commissioned by National Power for hauling limestone and coal hoppers.
In Train Simulator: DB Schenker Class 59/2 Loco Add-On, you operate the locomotive in its modern DB Schenker livery. This engine is compatible with the Quick Drive system, allowing you to use it on any route that supports this feature. You utilize the locomotive to navigate the rail network as it exists today under the operation of the private logistics company.
