Description
Train Simulator: North Jersey Coast Line Route Add-On features the historic North Jersey Coast Line of NJ TRANSIT. This route connects the New York City metropolitan area to the northern Jersey Shore. The line serves New York City’s Penn Station and the Hoboken Terminal, spanning over 70 route miles to Bay Head, New Jersey. Your journey takes you over Amtrak’s electrified Northeast Corridor to Rahway before heading toward the Atlantic seashore. You will travel through railroad towns such as South Amboy, Long Branch, and Bay Head.
NJ TRANSIT serves approximately 300,000 rail commuters and passengers each weekday. The route includes seven Career Scenarios and four Railfan Mode scenarios. You can operate the Bombardier ALP-45DP dual-power locomotive, which reaches speeds over 100 mph.
