Turmoil

Turmoil is a simulation game set during the 19th century oil rush in North America. You take on the role of an entrepreneur aiming to build a career as an oil baron. Your tasks include leasing land at town auctions, searching for oil, and constructing rigs. You create pipe networks to transport resources to silos for storage. You sell the oil to generate money, which allows the town to grow alongside your business.

You purchase upgrades to handle obstacles like rock, gas, and ice. You can use natural gas to boost oil prices to maximize profits. You interact with characters in the saloon for business deals. You compete against opponents to acquire town shares, aiming to become the new mayor. You can play procedurally generated levels.
