Description
Universe Sandbox is a physics-based space simulator where you create and destroy at an unimaginable scale. You use science to bend gravity, collide planets, and customize your own systems. By starting with a star, you can add moons, rings, comets, or black holes. The game models planetary climate, allowing you to watch sea ice grow or oceans boil away as you change a planet’s tilt or distance from a star.
You can simulate gravity using Newtonian mechanics or trigger stellar events like supernovas. You also terraform planets using 12 materials, including water, oxygen, and carbon dioxide. You can shape mountains and oceans on surfaces or spin planets apart with centrifugal force. The simulation includes pulsars, light-warping black holes, and epic space lasers. You can explore historical events like a total solar eclipse.
