Venba is a narrative cooking game centered on family, love, and loss. You take on the role of Venba, a South Indian immigrant mother who connects with her son through food. You piece together a tattered recipe book to prepare authentic dishes from regional South Indian cuisine, including idlis, dosas, and biriyani.

As you restore these lost recipes, you follow the story of a mother, father, and their son over many years. The family navigates themes of culture, self-discovery, and acceptance while they grow and change. You play through this cinematic experience accompanied by an original soundtrack inspired by Tamil music from throughout the ages. The game features warm, stylized visuals that bring the food and the story to life.
