Description
Wartales takes place a century after the Edoran Empire collapsed due to a widespread plague. In this medieval world defined by greed and poverty, honor is rare. You lead a band of mercenaries seeking wealth and recognition. You recruit companions who possess unique personalities, weapon preferences, and skill sets. You manage your group through a crafting and progression system that allows you to customize equipment, skills, and appearance. You also develop a camp with tools and luxuries to help your team recover.
You explore a vast open world filled with villages and ruins like mines and tombs. You accept contracts and collect bounties to earn money. Battles utilize a tactical turn-based system where you plan your strategy against hostile inhabitants. You may play with up to 4 players.
