In Witchspire, you are a chosen one tasked with stopping corruption from spreading. You explore a vast, hand-crafted world while growing your powers. You can use magic to call forth forests for timber, spirit jump up ledges, blink away from attacks, and deploy magical pickaxes to harvest resources. While you will not starve, gathering materials helps you replenish and bolster your strength.

You encounter diverse creatures throughout the wilderness. You can defeat them in battle to collect their spirits, form bonds with them, and guide their growth. You use astral projection to bypass gravity for free movement while building a home for your coven. You must watch for falling meteors, ancient creatures, and corruption. You progress through a branching tech tree and player levelling.
