Description
Aris Arcanum is a Victorian-era, magic-infused roguelite set within the grand library of Aris. You play as Clyde, a scholar tasked with overseeing Atramancy, the art of manipulating an alien entity known as the Ink. This substance was studied for its ability to enhance magic, but it ultimately corrupted the library, twisting the minds and bodies of the scholars. With his mentor Mira lost to this madness, Clyde must navigate the crumbling halls of the library to confront the scourge.
You explore otherworldly stacks where reality dissolves into an all-consuming void. You battle warped scholars and monsters while spellcrafting unique abilities by combining the Ink. You collect Knowledge to maintain your progress as you grow wiser and more powerful. Death acts as a reset, yet Clyde remains capable.
