Description
Botany Manor is a first-person puzzle game set in a Victorian English manor. You play as Arabella Greene, a retired botanist working to finish her book, Forgotten Flora. The story takes place in 1890 at a stately home in the English countryside. You explore the house and its grounds to find research that helps you grow rare plant specimens from seed.
Throughout the manor, you discover books, posters, letters, and Victorian contraptions. You must create ideal conditions for each plant to grow, which requires you to think outside the box. As you move room by room, you learn about the life and career of Arabella, including the challenges she faced as a woman in science. The plants are fantastical but inspired by real nature phenomena.
