Darklands

Darklands is a role-playing adventure set in 15th Century Germany. You lead a band of four adventurers across a landscape filled with mythical beasts, religious power-mongers and robber-knights. You travel by land and sea between the Frisian Coast, Bohemia, the Alps and Prussia, visiting over ninety cities. Your quest takes you through city streets, mine shafts, towers and the Sabbaths of witches.

You improve the attributes and skills of each character as you progress. There are no artificial character classes or levels. You learn alchemical formulas to create your own potions. During combat, you use swords, maces and potions to fight guards and other enemies in battles. You also call upon saints to bless your equipment. It is a battle to the death in the Black Forest.
