Description
EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 5 is an arcade shooter set in the year 2022. You act as a soldier for the Earth Defense Force to protect humanity from an invasion by unknown life forms. The conflict begins in Japan when a fleet of starships attacks an underground base in the Kanto region. You face massive insects and the Primers, which are the first humanoid aliens in the series.
You choose from four classes to complete missions and progress through the story. You can switch between these classes before each mission. During combat, enemy armor peels away and fluids spill onto the surrounding environment. This entry features more weapons and missions than previous games. You can play missions with up to four players.
