Field of Glory: Empires

Field of Glory: Empires is a grand strategy game set in the Mediterranean Area and Europe during the Classical Age. You navigate a complex tapestry of tribes and nations, each possessing a unique culture. As you manage an empire, you must expand your borders through wars of conquest. You also oversee the development of your realm by forming provinces and constructing buildings that improve your economy, the lives of your citizens, and your military forces.

You must establish and grow a trade network for resources and goods. When engaging in combat, you consider army composition, the strengths and weaknesses of your forces, and the enemy. You also select a general and a battlefield. You must shape your culture and government to avoid the collapse that threatens aging empires.
