Description
Hardspace: Shipbreaker puts you in the role of a blue-collar spaceship salvager. You work for LYNX Corp in a zero-g environment to dismantle spacecraft. Each ship acts as a puzzle that you solve by carving and slicing through metal to recover valuable materials. You utilize a laser cutter to slice components and a grapple tool to move salvage.
You face hazards such as explosive decompression, fuel, electricity, and radiation. Your equipment includes demo charges and sensors. You can improve your gear to accept more lucrative contracts as you work to pay off a debt of 1,252,594,441.92 Credits. The experience features a campaign, a freeplay mode, and timed challenges. You encounter a variety of ship types with unlimited variations while using physics-based mechanics.
