Description
Headlander is a side-scrolling action-adventure game set in a retro-futuristic world inspired by 70’s science fiction. In this setting, humanity has transferred their minds into robotic bodies within a utopia ruled by a computer. You play as the last known human, who exists only as a disembodied head.
You explore this world of machines to find information about your past. You use a special helmet to dock into and take control of any robotic host body. You launch from one vessel to another to navigate the environment and fight against psychotic robots. As you progress, you uncover that the state of the world is not as it seems. The final outcome for humanity remains undecided.
