Red Faction II

Red Faction II takes place on twenty-second century Earth. Fifteen years after the Mars rebellion, the dictator Sopot has oppressed the Commonwealth. His efforts to unify with the United Republic have caused poverty and bloodshed. A group of super-soldiers injected with nanotechnology intends to remove the dictator. You play as Alias, a demolitions expert, leading a squad of five specialists.

You use fourteen specialized weapons, including dual-handed options, to fight the government. You pilot four vehicles such as a tank, hover flyer, and submarine. The game features the Geo-Mod engine for real-time geometry modification. You encounter boss battles to acquire firepower. You utilize items like health kits, night vision, and grenades to complete stealth, puzzle, and action objectives. Your combat style determines if you reach good or bad karma endings.
