Roadwarden

Roadwarden is an illustrated text-based role-playing game featuring isometric pixel art. You assume the role of a brave stranger venturing through a grim fantasy world, where you guard travelers, connect isolated villages, support merchants, and repel bandits, creatures, or the undead. A powerful merchant guild has tasked you with investigating a mysterious peninsula to help them expand their influence.

You explore this land to gather information and uncover hidden secrets. Gameplay incorporates mechanics from adventure games, visual novels, and interactive fiction, including dialogue choices, inventory puzzles, character progression, hit points, and survival mechanics. You choose a background, personality, and beliefs, embarking as a warrior, mage, or scholar. You engage in quests restricted by in-game time. The game features a 30-hour story-campaign.
