Sam & Max Save the World

Sam & Max Save the World follows the Freelance Police, a duo consisting of a six-foot canine detective named Sam and a hyperkinetic rabbity-thing called Max. You take on the role of these crime-fighters as they address a report of former child stars causing trouble. The investigation reveals a conspiracy involving hypnotized individuals.

To solve the case, you use Sam's detective skills, Max's lack of conscience, and various inventory items. You receive assistance from neighbors including Sybil Pandemik, Bosco, and Jimmy Two-Teeth. The mystery leads you through diverse locations ranging from the street where Sam and Max live to the White House lawn, the internet, and the moon. The case involves identifying the source of the hypnotism and stopping a dastardly plan.
