Skald: Against the Black Priory

Skald: Against the Black Priory is a party-based roleplaying game featuring an aesthetic inspired by 8-bit titles. You explore a grim-dark fantasy setting filled with Lovecraftian horror, tragic heroes, and violent deaths. The story follows a path from the shores of Idra toward the Black Priory, featuring branching narratives and dialogue choices that create unexpected turns.

You build a team from a variety of allies, each possessing unique personalities, agendas, and skills. You select from twelve classes and different backgrounds, reaching up to level 20 while managing equipment and spells. During your journey, you participate in tactical, turn-based combat, though you may use auto-resolve to skip encounters. You also complete objectives, read journals, and utilize crafting and cooking recipes. You can choose to fight, blast, or move through areas using stealth.
