Description
In XCOM 2, Earth is governed by alien forces twenty years after world leaders surrendered. These rulers construct gleaming cities that hide a dark plan while they remove anyone who opposes their control. You lead the remaining XCOM forces, which operate from the Avenger, a mobile headquarters converted from an alien supply craft. You must travel across the globe to build support and spark a worldwide resistance movement to save humanity.
You manage your strike team by recruiting soldiers from five distinct classes, each featuring a unique skill tree. During tactical guerrilla missions, you utilize concealment to set up ambushes, gather gear from defeated foes, and carry fallen allies to safety. You also command scientists and engineers to research, develop, and upgrade armor and weapons to counter the alien threat.
