Description
R.U.S.E. is a real-time strategy game set during World War II. You lead your nation to victory by using deception as a primary weapon. The IRISZOOM engine provides a view of the battlefield that ranges from individual units to a broad perspective similar to board games. You utilize RUSE cards to camouflage troops, set up decoys, or spy on opposing forces.
In the campaign, you play as Major Joe Sheridan across North Africa and Western Europe. You can also engage in operations or skirmish against artificial intelligence. Matches support 2 to 8 players on maps inspired by real theaters of war. Available modes include Classic, Total War, Nuclear, and Ranked. You win by destroying enemy bases and units or by earning more points within the time limit.
