Description
In Tachyon: The Fringe, you operate as a mercenary space fighter caught within a violent galactic conflict. You explore a richly inhabited universe where you decide your destinations and which missions to undertake. The game features an in-game story line where your choices influence your future. Success relies on your piloting skills and combat savvy as you navigate this detailed setting.
You engage in intense space combat around massive ships and stations. The game includes team tactics and a mode called BASE WARS. You may coordinate attacks with other star pilots using Voice-Over-Net. You choose sides and fight across multiple sectors to destroy the opponent's base. Bruce Campbell provides the voice for the character Jake Logan.
